There was plenty on the agenda of Dad's Hour this week - so much so that Mick had to a do a 'roulette' of topics! The Dad's spoke about everything from watching over your kids doing homework, men's hairstyles to a Dad entering his daughter into a competition for messiest room.

Also, what are the most Googled things by new mums? There were some very sensible questions and some very odd ones too - we put it to the dad's to see what they thought.

On Dad's Hour this week it was inset day for Iain's kids so for the first time ever, we had children in the studio! We asked them to describe Daddy in one word and it was an interesting choice. We also put it to the dad's what would you do for love? Pretend you know about politics? Watch a film of their choice? Also, they discussed how apparently parents live longer than people without children. Safe to say they found it very hard to believe!

Dad's Hour was back for another week with a bit of a Halloween special! With Halloween fast approaching we thought it would be best to ask the Dad's what sort of outfits they'll be dressing their kids up in and what is the most ridiculous costume they have worn? We also spoke about a recent survey that said 1 in 10 boys didn't know that milk came from a cow and how boys apparently spend a lot more money on proms now than girls. We had to ask Iain and Sam how much they'd be prepared to pay out on their children when the day come!

On this week's Dad's Hour, Mick was joined by our resident Dads Iain and Che and we thought we'd put their knowledge to the test on kids TV. We quizzed the Dad's to see how much they knew about children's TV shows through the decades. Mick was also joined by special guest and out of this world Dad, Commander Chris Hadfield! He was telling us about the children's book he has wrote and what it's like being a Dad from afar.

On this week's Dad's Hour we were joined by very special guest and funny man Harry Hill! Harry joined Mick to talk about his new show 'Harry Hill's Tea Time' and we asked Harry what programmes did he watch when growing up and what he thinks is great family TV. We then asked Iain and Chris what they enjoyed watching growing up and we also put it to them that apparently Dad's enjoy parenting more than Mum's.

On this week's Dad's Hour, Mick asked the Dad's how good of a Dad do they think they are? Iain and Che both took the same quiz of 50 questions to determine how good of a Dad they are judging by the amount of 'Dad things' they do. They all got pretty good results! They were also joined by celeb Dad and fellow scouser John Bishop who told us about his upcoming tour 'Winging It' and do his kids genuinely think he's cool?

On this week's Dad's Hour the Dad's talked about the most embarrassing moments with their kids. We put it to Iain and Chris and asked them what is the most embarrassing thing they have said or done and have they accidentally landed you in trouble. They also spoke about how most adults are now addicted to their smart phones and does this affect your relationship with your child?

We done things a bit differently on Dad's Hour this week. We wanted to take a look at the highs and lows of being a Dad after we received the amazing news that Erin Cross is in remission following her Car-T cell treatment! Erin is a lovely 5 year old girl from Chester who needed to raise £100,000 to receive her treatment in Seattle to help with her battle with leukaemia. Erin's Dad, Anthony, told Mick of how overwhelmed he was by the generosity of people who have helped Erin and how ecstatic he was that she is in remission. We also caught up with Rugby legend and Question of Sport star, Matt Dawson, who told us of his struggles as a Dad. Matt's son suffered from meningitis and Matt wanted to come on to Dad's Hour to tell his story and raise awareness about this terrible disease.

The Dad's are back for another week and are talking about where they were when their partners give birth - were they a big help or just a massive hindrance? Also on Dad's Hour is a very special guest and celeb Dad... Peter Andre! He tells us about dad dancing and did he use his 20 yr old body as an inspiration for his dad bod!

We asked the Dad's this week about their thoughts about the recent statistics that have come out in regards to the gender pay gap. According to a recent survey, working Mum's are earning a lot less than men and we asked the Dad's did they think this was fair? This also led us on to talk about parental leave and how much time off other countries give to Dad's compared to the UK. It's safe to say they were a little bit jealous!

On this week's Dad's Hour, there was another special guest in the form of Olympic silver medallist Mark Cavendish! Mark was fresh from Rio and joined the Dad's to tell them what life is like being an Olympic Dad. Also on Dad's Hour, a recent survey said that half of UK parents admitted to letting their kids under 14 have a drink in the house and 1 in 10 even admitted letting children as young as 5 drink alcohol. We wanted to get Sam's and Iain's thoughts on this and at what age they'd think it was acceptable to give their kids their first drink.

On this week's Dad's hour, we had a very special guest on the show, comedian and presenter... Rufus Hound! Rufus came on to tell the Dad's about how rubbish it is to take your kids on holiday with you and how you can stop it from happening. This also got the Dad's talking about where they used to go on holiday and what it's like to be a modern Dad on holiday. Also, would you neglect your kids to play Pokémon Go? A couple in America did exactly that! The Dad's gave their thoughts.

Our resident Dad Iain Christie was away this week but 2 of our regular Dad's, Che Burnley & Jake Mills, joined Mick Coyle to talk through all matters parenting. We asked the Dad's how old is too old to have a teddy? This is after a recent survey which said that many adults still keep a teddy as their most prize possession. We also asked Che and Jake at what age would you give your children an iPhone or iPad as well as how they deal with fussy eating and food demands from their kids! Not forgetting the weekly Dad nods.

On this week's Dad's Hour, the Dad's spoke about a story in the Daily Mail where a café owner said that she would scold people's kids if they weren't behaving. Do you agree with this? Would you let someone else tell your children off? Iain and Che certainly had a lot to say on the matter! And we had to mention a survey in the Times Educational Supplement where accidentally calling a teacher 'mum' or 'dad' is among the top 100 rites of passage according to children. Youngsters were surveyed on what they think they should have done or experienced in school by the time they reach 11. Taking a nap in class and laughing hysterically when someone breaks wind also feature in the list and this caused a few giggles in the studio!

Big topic on Dad's Hour this week was baby names. We asked the Dads when was the last time you heard of a baby called Gary? Alan? Gordon? What are the deciding factors when you're picking out a baby name? It caused up a stir and the listeners tweeted in their thoughts too! We also spoke about the Victoria Beckham fiasco that has taken over the internet this week as she posted a picture of herself kissing her 5 year old daughter on the lips that caused outrage. Should you still kiss your kids on the lips? Or when do they get too old for that? Plenty of Dad Nods too.

Simon talked about what is classed as a modern Dad and how simple things such as reading a bedtime story can be taken forgranted. We also got Simon's Dad nods from around the world! We also talked about balloons and how much of a pain they really are after Worcester City Council has banned them and will fine anyone letting them go. Are they really that much of a nuisance? Iain Christie and Sam Avery joined Mick Coyle on this week's Dad's Hour and we talked about the recent story coming from Japan that a father had abandoned his 6 year old child in a forest to 'teach him a lesson'. We asked how far you would go to punish your child. We also spoke about a recent survey which said that housewives and househusbands have the happiest jobs - we put it to our Dad's to see if they'd like to stay at home and look after the kids 24/7!

On this week's Dad's Hour, we asked the question 'would you dob your kids in?' depending on what crime they had committed. We also talked about a 'duck it' list which is basically things you wish you'd done and never got round to doing. Some interesting answers were thrown up! And of course, Dad nods all round.

With Mother's Day coming up on Sunday, we had Candice Fonseca in for Dad's Hour this week alongside Mick Coyle & Iain Christie. We talked about how a new study found that women do typically four more weeks worth of childcare than men a year and how a new study by Oxfam found that more than two-thirds of women admit that they do the bulk of the housework. And of course we spoke about World Book Day.

On Dad's Hour this week we talked about dealing with those difficult questions that your children ask you to do with race, rumours and the 'birds and the bees'. Also, we looked at a story in 'The Telegraph' about how family doctors are supposedly diagnosing too many children with asthma and discussed the countless trips to the doctors.
