Welcome to a new world of Pods and Monsters
Hey Filmy People!
Over the past 2 and a half years John and I have had the privilege of producing this little podcast, since the COVID-19 crisis we paused all recordings as there were no new films to talk about in the current format of TFTM. Over the last 2 weeks, we have received loads of messages asking when will we be back on the airways. We love this pod and love the people that listen to it, so we have changed the format for the show until this crisis is over. This podcast is a labour of love but as with all our shows, a work in progress so please let us know how we can continue to make content worth listening to.
On the pod this week, we bring you recommendations of films available to stream on Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Disney plus. We discuss teams we want to see tackle existing IP and our take on what would happen if the Dark Universe franchise happened.

Hello Filmy People!
This week John and Jaimie review The Favorite. In the early 18th century, England is at war with the French. Nevertheless, duck racing and pineapple eating are thriving. A frail Queen Anne occupies the throne, and her close friend, Lady Sarah, governs the country in her stead while tending to Anne's ill health and a mercurial temper. We go through this year’s Oscar nominations and give our hot take on who is going to win.

Joining from Split are James McAvoy, reprising his role as Kevin Wendell Crumb and the multiple identities who reside within, and Anya Taylor-Joy as Casey Cooke, the only captive to survive an encounter with The Beast. Following the conclusion of Split, Glass finds Dunn pursuing Crumb's superhuman figure of The Beast in a series of escalating encounters, while the shadowy presence of Price emerges as an orchestrator who holds secrets critical to both men.

EPISODE 54: Talk Silly to Me BumbleBee
Hello Filmy People! (or Pozdravljeni Filmi Ljudje)
Apologies for the delay in getting this pod out. This week we discuss our thoughts on the new Ghostbusters movie in development as well as coming to America. We also review Bumblebee, on the run in the year 1987, Bumblebee the Autobot seeks refuge in a junkyard in a small California beach town. Charlie, on the brink of turning 18 years old and trying to find her place in the world, soon discovers the battle-scarred and broken Bumblebee. When Charlie revives him, she quickly learns that this is no ordinary yellow Volkswagen.
We also have a new game “Talk silly to me” where John takes memorable film quotes and changes the audio in which Flinty has to guess which the film. That and the usual nonsense on the 1000+ followers on podbean have endured.
