On the morning of May 1st, 2010, sex worker Shannan Gilbert ran through the neighborhood of Oak Beach, NY, pounding on strangers' doors and screaming for help. Her subsequent disappearance would spark one of the biggest serial killer manhunts in modern American history, an investigation that is still alive nearly a decade later.
