262: Lea Thompson (Part 2 of 2)
Lea Thompson has accomplished a forty year career in the arts that encompasses film, television, and theatre. She is best known as Michael J Fox’s mom in Steven Spielberg’s “Back to the Future I, II, and III,” as the title character in the syndicated series “Caroline in the City,” for which she won TV Guide and People’s Choice awards; and as Kathryn Kennish in five seasons of the ground breaking Peabody award winning series, “Switched at Birth.”
Lea is very proud of her feature film directorial debut, “The Year of Spectacular Men,” starring her two daughters Madelyn and Zoey Deutch, set to release on June 15th.
Lea has also been directing television for over 12 years including two “Jane Doe” telefilms, “Switched At Birth” (100th ep), ABC’s “American Housewife,” ABC’s “The Goldbergs” (100th Ep), and CBS’s award winning “Mom.”
