DE49 Jordan White Rock Artist From Philadelphia Shares With Us Some Excellent Vocals & Songwriting, It's All About Brotherly Love!
Welcome back to the dHarmic Evolution podcast with me James Kevin O’Connor, singer/songwriter and master storyteller. On today’s episode, I hang out with a rock musician who started performing professionally at the age of 7! Woah! Everyone, help me welcome Jordan White!
Jordan professes that his main music influences include a majority of those from the sixties and seventies. Right now, he plays his show solo but does occasionally perform with a band or as a duo. He’s been busy, busy, busy playing live shows and just getting his music out into the world.
On this interview, Jordan tells me about channeling his feelings of discomfort into his music, which makes for it as being therapeutic. “Makes me feel more together,” he says. Jordan is quite careful in picking his gigs, and he reminds all other musicians to be wary of that as well. He reminds us to know how to prioritize, how to maximize time, and focus on working toward a goal.
On this episode:
I loved it when he tells me about his hesitation in getting a smartphone. Would you believe he just got his first smartphone last year? WHAAT! Find out why! Jordan tells me that he is color-blind - and he explains how that’s like! He reminds us to be very wary of our time as musicians. “You need to prioritize what you're doing so you're not driving 6 hours for 6 people.” True, brother! Jordan tells me about his writing style, his writing schedule, and his general approach toward working on his career
