LYE 89: The End Of YouTube? (Article 13)
Is this the end of YouTube? That's the question we're exploring in this weeks episode of Lower Your Expectations. Following the passing of Article 13 YouTube could be held liable for all content uploaded within the EU and as a result this could see the platform banning any video that uses any third party content. That includes many of your favourites including Pewdiepie, Philip De Franco and Red Letter Media.
But why is this happening? When will it happen? Who's to blame? Is it a mistake?
We attempt to answer all of these questions (but please forgive us if we fail on this noble quest)
