TODAY: John Brancato, American screenwriter. Brancato began screenwriting in the early 90's with his partner Michael Ferris, who he would collaborate with from there on. Their earliest works included the not-so-well-known films The Unborn and Into the Sun, before getting their big break with Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, as well the sequel Terminator: Salvation. Following their 2009 film Surrogates, they took a break from screenwriting before returning in 2017, with the action film The Hunter's Prayer, which is their most recent project.
