Dane Cook, Actor/Comedian – The Film Scene

TODAY: Dane Cook, American actor and comedian with a penchant for storytelling and grabbing laughs. A native of Massachusetts, Cook took up comedy and acting in high school, and became a regular performer in the greater Boston area during the 90's. In 1996 he moved to Los Angeles, and received his big breakthrough when he starred in Comedy Central's Premium Blend stand-up TV series. He would go on to record 5 standup specials that have been commercial successes, with Retaliation becoming RIAA certified platinum. Cook is also a successful actor, having starred in comedy films since 1997 with his best known being Mystery Men.
