Why We Need a Harry Potter TV Series - Mailbag

On today’s Collider Mailbag (January 19, 2019), Perri Nemiroff and Dennis Tzeng answer the following questions from the Collider fans:

1. Why do you guys think VoiceOvers in trailers is not as prevalent as it used to be?

2. Do you think the Harry Potter franchise would do itself a huge favor in revitalizing the franchise after the mixed receptions of the Fantastic Beast movies, by creating a Saved by the Bell-esque TV series back at Hogwarts, with stakes that are a bit lighter in nature?

3. My Marvel theory - the surviving heroes from Avengers Infinity War pay a heavy price to turn back time and stop the snap from ever happening. This saves everyone (except probably, themselves). What do you think of this theory? Or do you have one of your own?

4. Aside from death or world-ending threats, what are some other stakes in an action/fantasy setting that will keep the audience invested and hungry for what’s next?

5. If you were a villain, what noble cause would you choose and how would you solve it badly?
