EPISODE 28: A film with an unpronounceable title review, Films we like introducing to people, Connect the dots, and more
Hello Filmy People! We are here with guest co-host Mr. Hannan to talk about films we love showing/introducing to people for the first time. John is back with his lovely wife Jamie (Who also hosts a podcast titled "How to save the world") to give us their review of The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society, in 1946 a London-based writer begins exchanging letters with residents on the island of Guernsey, which was German-occupied during WWII. Feeling compelled to visit the island, she starts to get a picture of what it was like during the occupation. We also play another round of Connect the dots and all the fun and shenanigans you can expect from a bunch of nerds on a bank holiday.
