Last summer we had a great conversation with New York State Senator Jesse Hamilton from Brooklyn about his 911 Anti-Discrimination legislation. Sen. Hamilton explained why we need to stop the abuse of 911 services that leads to unwarranted and dangerous police encounters with Black people by adding false reporting statutes to the list of hate crimes in New York state law. #LivingWhileBlack
