We Are Shereen's Cousins

In episode 93, we travel with Shereen to West Virginia to visit some of her mother's family. She sits down with some of her younger cousins to talk about their recent immigration stories, what they miss about Syria, the trauma of living through war, their experiences in America, making new friends (not to mention new lives), and so much more. In addition to being teenage immigrants, each cousin has their own hopes and dreams; they speak to Shereen in their second language of English in order to share their stories with us! We hope y'all appreciate this episode and the strength of Shereen's cousins, who, like so many just like them, immigrated to this country in search of a better world.
