#056 Hank Wangford (The Rock N Roll Doctor)
Country singer Hank Wangford has always had one foot in medicine and one foot in music, which is why he became known as the Rock N Roll Doctor. During the sixties & seventies Hank served as a personal doctor to the likes of Keith Moon, Keith Richards & Gram Parsons - Gram was actually responsible for switching Hank on to country music and inspiring his career as a country singer. In this week's episode of Life In The Stocks, Hanks shares his incredible life story with Matt, from growing up with overtly communist parents to studying medicine at Cambridge University, to living in Soho in the swinging sixties and campaigning for the legalisation of cannabis with The Beatles, through to the story of how he became the Roll N Roll Doctor which eventually led to his career as alternative country music star Hank Wangford. Enjoy this amazing episode with a true rock n roll character.
