This week we’re joined by guest host Ellington Wells, a writer and comedian whose credits include The New Negroes and Adult Swim’s Lazor Wulf. The panel discuss the teen comedy Booksmart, and what distinguishes this film from others in the “one crazy night” genre.

Kayla in Seattle called the Who Shot Line after seeing Captain Marvel, a movie that helped her shake off the idea of what women are supposed to be. She wondered if the panelists could point to any movies that helped them contextualize their place in the world.
