Origin Stories #18 - Mayuko Inoue - iOS Dev & YouTuber
In this episode of Origin Stories I speak with iOS Engineer and fellow YouTuber, Mayuko Inoue. We get to hear how she first got exposed to basic code while playing with Neopets while in middle school and how she decided to pursue a CS degree while in college. This led to internships which then led to her first job, and then ultimately to a job a Patreon. We also get to hear her reasoning for starting a YouTube channel and her advice for getting started with content creation in the space. Stay tuned for a bonus section at the end about her new venture into the super fun world of Twitch streaming.
Origin Stories is a series of interviews with iOS developers from the community where we discuss how they got their start in this industry. We discuss how they first became interested in code, what resources they used to learn, how they got their first job and much more.
