General Election: A case of 'when' not 'if?'
This week, Boris Johnson has lost his majority, lost control of parliament, lost a vote over a no-deal Brexit and lost an attempt to call a general election. 21 MPs lost the Conservative whip after defying the Prime Minister while Mr Johnson's brother quit as an MP. All this in the first three days after the summer recess. These are not normal times in Westminster and what happens next is anyone's guess. Joining Adam Boulton to help make sense of it all are the Conservative writer Tim Montgomerie, James Meadway who's a former adviser to Labour's John McDonnell and Sky's chief political correspondent Jon Craig.
