Origin Stories #27 - Alphonso Sensley - iOS Engineer @ Bank of America
In this episode of Origin Stories I speak with Alphonso Sensley, iOS Engineer at Bank of America. In this story we get to hear about how he worked at Apple retail for a few years before getting curious about building products for Apple devices. He started learning like many of you... YouTube, Udacity, Treehouse, etc... We talk about how he built up a network on twitter and then utilized that network to get his first iOS developer contract and then eventually his first job at Bank of America. We also dive into how valuable mentorship can be for both the mentee and the mentor. Hope you enjoy!
Origin Stories is a series of interviews with iOS developers from the community where we discuss how they got their start in this industry. We discuss how they first became interested in code, what resources they used to learn, how they got their first job and much more.
