What does it take to start a company that will become a billion-pound business? We are looking at companies that require anything from half a million to 1.5 million. At the start, we may invest a small amount as a kick start so we can see how the vision is managed, what the quality is like and how they deliver. There are lots of elements of change involved but we don’t want to change the things that work, we are looking to transform the relationship between the founder and VC.
