S1 Ep2: #2 Mel Brown Nutrition
Mel is a nutritionist and has been practicing since 2002 focusing on fertility, IVF and pregnancy.
She’s written for The Sunday Telegraph Stella Magazine, Harper’s Bazaar Online, Elle, BBC and written for Infertility: Basic Science and Clinical Practice.
Here she gives advice on how we should be keeping ourselves and our babies happy and healthy through what we eat. There is some specific nutritional information depending on the fertility drugs we might be taking. Plus lots of information about how we can support ourselves throughout our pregnancy.
Mel also talks about the supplements we should be taking during pregnancy which include my favourites Bare Biology Omega 3 Fish Oil and Wild Nutrition Pregnancy plus post birth to help support us with our mental health and breast feeding, including Lactobacillus Rhamnosus.
She suggests a good basic list for the dos and don’ts of eating whilst pregnant is the Food Standard Agency list and if you are looking for something to help with constipation Mel recommends Lepicol or Regucol from Holland and Barrett.
You can follow Mel on instagram or check out her website for more information about her services.
I really hope you enjoy listening. Please don’t forget to subscribe, rate, review and share because we need to spread the word.
Look forward to hearing from you!
