Red Flags
Red Flags – circumstances or facts that need me to take a closer look. Look at any investigating that has already been done to see if there are any gaps that need to be filled. Along with that, get a good understanding of everyone involved in the investigation to see what their level of training and expertise is.
Red is often used as a warning color because it’s a color that grabs your attention. In an investigation, red flags jump out and grab your attention because they don’t seem to fit the given narrative of the case. The deaths of Kadie Major, her infant daughter River, and her unborn son Aadon have a lot of red flags. I’ve asked investigators Mark Gillespie, Mike Kenney, and Jay and Lauren Marin to talk about these with me.
