Crimson Pangolin Gin: The Spirit of China with Founders Helena Kidacka & David Munoz
In this podcast we discuss how one couple is crafting their Gin to express China through locally sourced botanicals and ingredients.
Helena Kidacka and David Munoz are am expat couple living in Shanghai. In 2017, upon a trip back to her homeland of England, Helena noticed a huge resurgence in the craft gin scene. David, who having worked in the spirits industry for years, and was not one to miss an opportunity, thought that it would be a good idea to launch a Chinese gin in celebration of all the herbs, spices, teas and botanicals the country had to offer. Two years later, they have a flourishing gin brand, Crimson Pangolin, and are available all throughout China and in parts of Europe.
