#202 Eric Melvin (NOFX)

We're kicking off Series Three of Life In The Stocks with a NOFX double bill. And what better way to initiate the next round of 100 episodes than with not one but TWO podcasts with the guys in my all-time favourite band. Last week, I finally welcomed Fat Mike on to the show, and it fast became my most downloaded episode to date. The response was incredible. And if you think that conversation with Fat Mike went deep, wait until you hear this week's podcast with Eric Melvin. What a beautiful soul.

We had such a lovely talk, taking in the pandemic, how it's affected NOFX, life coaching, listening to and connecting with people, PMA, drugs and alcohol, what's been happening with Mike, getting him in to rehab, how that's impacted the band, the role of Smelly and El Hefe in NOFX, the book, fatherhood, his new electronic project, and so much more. This episode really is a great example of what this podcast is all about: deep philosophical discussions with interesting artists and grade A humans. I really hope you enjoy it and take something positive away from it.
