Clout chasing is an expression that came out of the American rap music industry and in simple terms, a Clout Chaser is someone who does and says things simply for the purpose of becoming more popular. You may not be familiar with the term, but I think you’ll recognise the sort of person that today’s topic defines pretty quickly.
