How the levees held
Hurricane Ida made landfall in Louisiana on Sunday, August 29. The powerful storm grew to Category 4 by the time it crashed into the coast, and with a storm this strong, one big question was on everybody’s mind: Will the levees hold this time? They did, and here to explain how they worked is Associated Press reporter Jeff Amy (@jeffamy).
