Colleagues later found her strangled to death inside her home. Lee County investigators are still actively searching for her killer. 13 years earlier, in 1983, 30-year-old Gary Dawson was found murdered in a Lee County farmer's hog pen. Investigators made arrests early on in the case but couldn't get a murder conviction. Then, many years later, police arrested the same individuals.
