Episode 038 | "Calling The Kettle Black"

In this week’s episode, the group sans Steven link up again to discuss what’s been on their mind and what has transpired. WMYS kicks things off (4:47) but this time things are done with a little twist, with the group calling Steven, who is back in London (23:01) and lets the collective know-how his past week has been which involves a work project and watching ‘The Crown’ (33:07). Kieran then brings up a recent discussion he had with a white person about the n-word in rap music (37:45) and when it is acceptable, if ever for a non-black person to use. The group discuss the murky world, the word lives in, as rappers use it so freely and the problems their level of influence creates about the usage of the n-word (39:45). Continuing on last’s week theme, the group continue to wade in on the power of language.
