The Pitch Tent: How can we utilise everyday sustainability?

Did you know chewing gum contains single-use plastic? Did you know boats can be eco-efficiently supercharged? Did you know fitness supplements can be created without damaging the earth? Did you know coffee cups can be used more than once?

In the months leading up to the summit, led by Wavelength Ventures, Blue Earth Summit received applications from some of the UK’s most innovative businesses. We were on the lookout for businesses that can legitimately disrupt a whole market and identify solutions to make real change.

Then, at Blue Earth Summit 2021, four forward thinking businesses got the chance to pitch to four investors, Pippa Dunn from Broody, Andrew Wordsworth from Sustainable Ventures, Tom March from Redrice, and Darren Westlake from Crowdcube. Here’s what happened…
