Ep. 284: The Women of the Rumble

It’s the home stretch before the Royal Rumble! And that means it’s our final chance to speculate wildly on a NEW episode of Tights and Fights!

We’re letting our imaginations run wild. Who will show up in the Rumble match? Who has the best chance to win? For the first time in a while it feels like the field is wide open!

And not to be out done, AEW had another event show on TBS: “Beach Break!” Amid all the amazingly athletic spots in the TNT title match, we’re still a little confused about how we got to Sammy Guevara as a two time champion… and we’re still not positive about him as a face. Almost as unsure as we are about NXT 2.0!

But all that aside: DANHAUSEN IS IN AEW!

The Main Event

The women of WWE getting their own version of the Royal Rumble is a relatively new annual tradition we all look forward to. But even before this match, there were four women who competed in the original Rumble to give us something to cheer for.

Lindsey put over Danhausen’s debut in AEW.

Danielle put over wrestlers respecting wrestlers.

Hal put over Johnny Gargano seducing his wife.
