Haas is the latest WorldTour rider to give up the hustle, bustle of the pro peloton for life on the open off-road, as he goes full-time gravel racer.
James and Joe talk to the Australian about why gravel, why now, where he thinks the gravel scene is going, whether UCI involvement is a good thing, leaving the WorldTour after a decade, and saying goodbye to French pasta forever.
Interview starts at 17.55.
