Sports w/ Erin McKeown – Ep. 56
We really scored in getting the talented Erin McKeown to dyke out with us about Sports! As a musician, Erin loves how sports can provide entertainment for her outside of her industry. From the athlete back stories to the unpredictable nature of games, there’s so much to love. Also, how have we gone so many episodes of a lesbian podcast without “sports” as a topic when it plays such a huge role in the lives of so many queer women? But before we dive into the topic, Erin tells us about her work as the composer and lyricist for the musical Miss You Like Hell, which you can listen to by purchasing the original cast recording here (it rocks, your ears and heart will thank you). We also round the bases on topics like civic duty, trolls, and Rachel Maddow. And as usual, we end with a listener question about her partner’s rude-ass friends.
