Theo Delaney’s guest is the writer and publisher Ian Ridley. A former Sports Journalist Of The Year, his impressive list of books includes the groundbreaking ‘Addicted’ written with Tony Adams and ‘The Breath Of Sadness’ which tells his own moving story of bereavement following the loss of his wife, the celebrated sports writer Vikki Orvice. This is the first of two parts recorded at Ian’s home in Hertfordshire and features goals from West Germany, Italy, England and Fulham.
