Youth Rising is youth-driven stories from right across England about the issues that matter to young people right now. For our first ever episode of Youth Rising by NCS, we're diving head-first into the topics of meme culture and fast fashion.

The roundtable discussion on meme culture is led by our reporter Callen. He's joined by Khalid Layaida a social media manager, Layla Haidrani an award winning journalist and writer, also Elena and Muhsin our presenter for this podcast. The second story is led by our reporter Pubudika. She went to the sustainable fashion event Saved From Waste, where she spoke with event organisers, the women behind Fast Fashion Therapies and attendees of the event.
