This is a powerful episode...  Ellen and Yvette chat to Elliot Kallen about suicide, overcoming trauma and the comparisons between mental health support in the US and the UK. Elliot's son, Jake, took his own life aged 19. Now he runs A Brighter Day, a non profit organisation which aims to stop teen suicide by educating teens and their parents about mental disorders, and providing resources they can use to reach out and communicate when depression and stress are affecting either their own or the lives of those around them.
