201: Bible John | Scotland
Between 1968 and 1969, Patricia Docker, Jemima McDonald and Helen Puttock all fell victim to a serial killer who told people his name was John. Witnesses claimed he was in the habit of quoting scripture, which gave him the nickname ‘Bible John’. He met all three of his victims at Glasgow dance halls, strangled them and discarded their bodies on the street. Despite a plethora of evidence and a clear artist’s impression of the serial killer, he has never been caught.
