The Role Of Black Supplementary Schools

In this episode, Umar is joined by Brother Nia Imara, founder of The National Association of Black Supplementary Schools (NABSS). His vision was to encourage more parents from the African Heritage community to take advantage of the extra supplementary education facilities around the UK and tackle head-on any issues with the heavily reported achievement of African Heritage children in mainstream education. They discuss the creation of NABSS and the work that they do.
