The Last of Us, the adaption of Naughty Dog's HUGELY successful video series made people nervous - VERY nervous. Game adaptations had not been kind to our eyes over the years.

Then details started to trickle through... Craig Mazin, creator of Chernobyl and acclaimed screenwriter was partnering up with original game creator Neil Druckmann. CHECK!

Game of Thrones alumni Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsay were cast in the title roles - CHECK!

The signs were good - but would the series be? Answer - YES!

A worldwide sigh of relief from viewers, creators and gamers alike could be felt - as episode 1 revealed an immersive, faithful yet original and completely mesmerising take on the classic.
