On today's Pop of Wisdom, I am joined by Dr James Doty, the founder and director of The Center for Compassion and Altruism Research and Education at Stanford University. He is also a clinical professor for neurosurgery at Stanford School of Medicine. Dr Doty is the author of one of my favourite books, Into the Magic Shop: A neurosurgeon's true story of the life-changing magic of mindfulness and compassion.
