In this second installment of 'How do I reduce my phone usage?' I share tips that are available to you right now, in your phone, to keep you from being disturbed and distracted by your phone.

Look at Screen Time within your phone's settings and look at how long you're spending on each app to help you know where to focus your attention when minimising your phone use.Keep your phone out of arm's reach.Turn off all your notifications. All of them.Scramble your home screen every few weeks so it's harder to actually use your phone.Don't allow your phone in the bedroom.Try switching from vibrate to silent.Use Down Time within iPhone settings (Wind Down on Android) to sets time limits and periods of time when your phone is essentially in sleep mode.Download Forest App which gamifies taking breaks from your phone (because who doesn't love a win!?)
