Tan France says people think he was "plucked out of nowhere and they're right." Despite being best known for his role on Queer Eye as a fashion designer and entrepreneur, he had never aspired to be a television personality. Our conversation centered around his upbringing as a South Asian in the UK, his identity as a Pakistani, and his experiences as a brown and queer individual who has often felt like an outsider. Hi, I’m EmRata, aka Emily Ratajkowski. Maybe you know me from my work as an actress or model, or maybe you’ve read my bestselling book, My Body.
