The Ingredients of Our Lives
When we cook, we don’t try to change ingredients – we simply use what we have been given. Today, Dora shares how we can use a similar philosophy when life doesn't turn out as planned.
Dora Kamau holds a B.A. in Psychology and a B.S. in Psychiatric Nursing. She is a certified Mindfulness Meditation teacher and is working to complete her Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Teacher training this fall. Before joining forces at Headspace, Dora worked as a psychiatric nurse in a women’s addictions facility and organized community events for BIPOC women in Vancouver, BC, Canada.
