EP#456 - We Are Just Kids in Big Bodies
Limiting beliefs are deeply ingrained thoughts or perceptions that we hold about ourselves, the world around us, and what is possible for us to achieve. These beliefs can be both conscious and subconscious, and they are often formed in childhood through experiences, interactions, and messages we receive from parents, teachers, and society at large.
As we grow older, these limiting beliefs become reinforced through our experiences and interactions with others. They become deeply rooted in our subconscious minds, and we may not even be aware of their presence or the impact they have on our lives.
The challenges we face in life, whether it's pursuing our dreams, building relationships, or achieving success, are often based on these limiting beliefs. They create self-doubt, fear, and negative self-talk that hold us back from reaching our full potential.
To overcome these limiting beliefs, we need to first become aware of them and then take steps to reprogram our subconscious minds. This may involve identifying and reframing negative self-talk, seeking support from a therapist or coach, and cultivating a growth mindset that empowers us to take action toward our goals.
Ultimately, breaking free from limiting beliefs requires a willingness to challenge our own perceptions and beliefs, and a commitment to personal growth and self-improvement.
