In the early 1500s, a woman in what is now known as modern day France began dancing uncontrollably. Within the span of a month, hundreds of people had joined her and were physically unable to stop themselves from dancing, ultimately resulting in some succumbing to exhaustion. Today, we look at the baffling mystery of the Dancing Plague of 1518.
