Laura continues her fascinating interview with Hazel Thornton who was juror #9 at the first seven-month trial in 1993. Listener discretion is advised. In this episode you will hear more detail about the horrific, insidious, cruel, and torturous abuse Lyle and Erik were subjected to by Jose Menendez.   Laura and Hazel discuss the multiple forms of abuse the boys were subjected to, including coercive control and the omnipresent threat Jose Menendez posed to Lyle and Erik. It’s also important to underline that the testimonies that Lyle and Erik gave about the abuse at the first trial was totally uncontradicted and uncontroverted evidence.
