Sunak vows to change the country
The Prime Minister took to the stage on the last day of the Conservative Party conference to say the country needs change, and only the Conservatives can deliver change. He hit back at the 'status quo' of the past 30 years and said politicians needed to stop with the empty rhetoric and get on with delivering policies.
He also announced the axing of the northern leg of HS2 - and a Network North project to improve connectivity and transport across the North of England and beyond.
