Israel Prepares For Gaza Ground Assault

If Israeli Defense Force does go into Gaza to fight Hamas street by street, they will be entering one of the most dangerous types of war zone in the world - a tightly packed, chaotic urban environment, with tunnels below it and a thousand opportunities for ambush. Think of Stalingrad. Think, indeed, of Warsaw. So among the questions we have to ask today is whether Hamas is luring the Israelis into a trap, from which it will be hard to escape.
