Season 6 - Episode Thirty Six
Hello there, my spectral companions! It's me, Clinton, and I've got the marvellous Linda Pollack by my side once again. Now, let me tell you, Linda's been on quite the adventure lately – she went to see Taylor Swift in a concert film all about her life. And who did she take along, you ask? Well, her nieces, of course. They had a blast, but let's not forget that Linda also spent a pretty penny on this Taylor Swift extravaganza. Money well spent, I'd say!
Now, let's dive into some spine-tingling tales from Fate and Fortune. We've got a gem from Psychic Sally Morgan's article, "Bite-Size Shivers." This one's about a man sporting a top hat and tail, waving at a young girl near some cemetery gates, beckoning her into the graveyard. We're a bit skeptical about this one – smells like someone's after a quick £300, don't you think?
Oh, but the spookiness doesn't end there. I had a chat with the fantastic Jonny Awsum at the Southport Comedy Festival. He had a tale to share – picture this, he's heading home one night, all set to sleep in the spare room, and bam! He encounters a robed figure. Things take a turn when he switches on the lights – you won't believe what he saw!
We've got a treat from our recent recording at the 100 Club. Our lovely audience shared some of their own ghostly encounters, and let me tell you, folks, you won't want to miss these hair-raising stories. Absolutely incredible stuff!
But wait, there's more. We've got an article from the Psychic Barber, the one who claims not to believe in ghosts but always manages to cook up intriguing questions. This time, he's pondering if executions can increase haunting. It's a spooky question, and we're here to unravel it.
And speaking of unraveling, I had a chat with Huge Davies at the Theatre Royal in York. Now, Huge might not be a believer in the paranormal, but his girlfriend had some tales to share. She warned him about ghosts in her house and even claimed to have spoken to a particular ghost at the end of her bed. There's more – Huge Davies had a TV that decided to turn itself on and play tunes from the 1950s. Utter madness, I tell you! And you won't believe it, but he's climbed up to number 2 in our spooky charts on Patreon.
And to wrap it all up, we've got more from Paula O'Brien's column in Take a Break. She's all about flicking her pendulum to predict your future. It's a bit mental, but that's what we love about it!
Until next time, my eerie friends!
