Tory Racism Row... Again
The Conservative Party have once again, in a matter of just a few weeks, landed themselves in a racism row. Businessman Frank Hester, who has donated £10million to the Tories made some allegedely racist remarks about Labour MP Dianne Abbott. He reportedly told a meeting at his company's headqaurters that "It's like trying not to be racist but you see Diane Abbott on the TV, and you're just like… you just want to hate all black women because she's there. And I don't hate all black women at all, but I think she should be shot." The Conservatives are facing calls to return the money - but will they do it? Lord Simon Woolsey and Conservative MP Marcus Fysh join to discuss.
Former Conservative Culture Secretary Nadine Dorries also discusses the prospect of Boris Johnson being deployed across the Red Wall to help with the impending General Election campaign.
And Ilya Ponamarev, the Political Leader of the Free Russia Legion, a group of Russian exiles fighting Putin in Ukraine, discusses why his organisation has launched an operation inside Russian territory early today.
