The BBC will not appeal Cliff Richard case
The BBC has announced it will not appeal the judgement of the High Court that its coverage of a police raid on Sir Cliff Richard violated his privacy. Where does this leave journalism - and the senior figures at the BBC whose errors led to this expensive failure? Amol Rajan is joined by the BBC's Director of Editorial Policy David Jordan and Angela Haggerty, columnist from The Sunday Herald.
Also in the programme Jim Waterson, Guardian Media editor, Daniel Gadher, Senior Analyst at Ampere Analysis and Gady Epstein, from the Economist in New York discuss New TV, a $1bn venture which is trying to outsmart Netflix, and the plan by more than 100 American newspapers to counter President Trump's repeated attack on the media.
