About Wildlife Cinematographers: Filming elephants, living with penguins and what David Attenborough is really like
Come and see us at the Clapham Grand on 7th May, with guests Seann Walsh and Stephen Bailey: https://dice.fm/event/2ymoo-joe-marler-presents-things-people-did-7th-may-the-clapham-grand-london-tickets
Our guest this week is Sophie Darlington, who might just have the best job in the world. She is a wildlife cinematographer, and has worked on pretty much every massive nature and David Attenborough documentary you can think of. She has filmed incredible species in their natural habitats, including lions, penguins, bears and killer whales. She has seen incredible things, but we also learn about the unglamorous sides of the job, including being stuck in a hide for 27 hours with no toilet, and having to eat frozen cucumber sandwiches whilst not getting trampled by elephants.
