2257 - Waiver Wire - June 30, 2024
Fantasy Baseball Live – June 30, 2024
Segments 1 and 2 – Review the games of the weekend.
Additional Questions:
1.Pablo Lopez with two strong starts but he has the Astros next. Do you start him?
2.Heston Kjerstad hit a granny last night. Does he get enough at-bats to warrant rostering him?
3.George Springer hit two home runs on Friday. One good night doesn’t turn this season around, but are you still running him out, or is he on your bench? Are you dropping him in one-year leagues? How about Dynasty Leagues?
4.It was announced on Friday that James Wood will make his debut on Monday. I’m assuming the Nat’s did it to fill the seats on a slow, early summer Monday. Many rookie hitters have underperformed this season (particularly early after their callup), will he break that trend?
5.Speaking of rookies, Jackson Chourio is getting better. He’s slashing .314/.355/.543 with four home runs in June and only striking out 17% of the time. Is he starting to figure things out?
6.WOW, the Mets. What has been the difference? They clicked once Francisco Alvarez got back, and they started Vientos or Baty. Is it that easy?
a.They have crawled back to .500. Are they going to be buyers or sellers at the deadline?
